And works on CB sets -
I've used steel rods, and most of my friends will only use them.

This is the only guy I will let work on my radio and the only CB shop in Oklahoma as far as I am concerned. Steve at A & R Plus CB Shop in Oklahoma City. Located inside the T/A Truck stop East on Council Road. I have an old Connex 3300 and after two CB shops in Tulsa told be it was junk and it would be cheaper to by new I just put it on the shelve for a year. Last week I took it to Steve and he found the problem and fixed it for about $30 and it works better then ever. His antenna guy came out to the truck and repaired my coax connection that came apart and fried my old trusty Northstar due to bad sodering work that was done at another CB shop in OKC this summer when I had the coax cable replaced.

i never had any work done from DTB in Carlisle PA, but every time i get out that way, i call out to him, ask him how my radio sounds. i always get an answer, he is always polite to me. when i was doing my research on a new radio, i talked to him on the cb, then on the phone. he gave me advise on which radios could do what and what was the best bang for the buck for the route i am planning to take. i do believe he is knowledgeable and he seemed to genuinely care out his customers and the cb/ham radio industry

My good friend, and the tech I use is the same way. I've set and watched him many times rip out those crazy, and in many cases, harmful mods and re-tune the radio properly to where it performed much better than when it came in with all that "super mod" crap done to it.
warning....hi jack ahead......
FYI- We are discussing putting an address out there where drivers can send their radios in (or anybody) and receive quality work and service, (all work warrantied) at a fair price with guaranteed results, and quick turn around time. No crazy mods or hack jobs that end up shortening the life of your radio or sounding like crap over the air. He's got all the necessary equipment and knows how to use it, (Calibrated Generator, two Tektronix 100 MHZ Digital Storage Oscilloscopes, Service Monitor, Flukes, Etc..) and about 40 years experience!
You all will be the first to know if we get this thing going.......... -
And RECERTIFIED to all FCC spects ?
Only kidding Mike
Have a great Thanksgiving ....
