From my understanding yea they hire beginners. If I'm not mistaken you come and do the orientation then you get on a trainers truck for 8 weeks. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me on this. But I'm pretty sure that's how it goes.

Ive seen some of the posting about sitting. Tankerman nothing beats piggy backing. Motel every night, flying back. Any wait time is in an airport waiting on a flight. Man I've got the best trucking job.

im sure, i thought about doing that too. but dont know much about that kind of trucking

Delivered in Thomasville, figured they would just deadhead me to Florida since finding a load that delivers tomorrow to Florida from here should be impossible! AND they have deadheaded me home from Atlanta before!
So now I am sitting here for three hours now while they TRY to book me a load!
I do not understand this company anymore! -

Here is one for you. I get to my 3 stop in Anakeny, IA. Sysco foods, get out to take bills in and as i look at my front right steer, it starts to go flat right before my eyes. Called break down, sends out a service truck with a new steer. we pull the tire and inflate it, check rubber with soapy water, no leak, check valve stem, leak found. must of pushed to hard when i checked tire pressure that morning. lol. The steeers are brand new, less than 5000 miles. Shop should have put new stems in when changing tires. I hope JBS is not getting cheap. Leak was around the nut on the stem.

Last stop on my 4 stop run, drop at Curlys in Sioux City, Iowa. Pull in and park nexted to another JBS driver, I get out to take bills to recieving and i also said hi to the other driver. The reciever said that ther are 2 other trucks ahead of me. I tell them no problem, just knock on the truck door when you have a dock. 25-30 min later they knock and i bump the dock, 15 min later unloaded and pulling out (3 pallets). I pull out and head to Worthington, call my dm, he proceeds to tell me that the other JBS driver called his people to complain that I cut in line. Really I said, Now i ask, how in the hell can you cut in line at a reciever? This other driver is a reginal driver out of Green Bay, felt like i was back in grade school when i heard this. I asked for his tractor # going to send him a crying towel.
