If a 105 lb woman can pass it....or me.
It's not that big a deal LOL. Just remember to breath.
A few weight moves, stair climbs, range of motion test...and you're done. -
its EASY if my fat arse can do it, anyone can! You have to step up and down on a step for 30 seconds at a set pace, and the rest is just lifting various weights and walking around with them. i think the heaviest one was 60lbs if i remember correctly. Then you gotta kneel under a simulated trailer, and climb onto one, after each test theyl check your heart rate and if it exceeds the Maximum you fail. My maximum was like 177, and i never even got above 155, and i was winded after the step test.

Let's see if I can remember everything...
You walk in a room and someone sits you down and takes your blood pressure and heart rate. Then they have you step up on a box and step down for about a minute, then takes your heart rate again. Then they have you kinda like duck-walk under a platform, simulating going under a trailer, you do this twice. Then they have you step up on the platform simulating stepping up into a trailer, you do this twice also. Then a few more physical tests, like grab a bag and lift it above your head. Carry a basket of weights across the room, then they put more weight and you do it again. I did something else with a basket of weight, I can't remember exactly, maybe just hold it or do some squats with it. Um... oh, squats (no weights) for about a minute, and then a pull-test where you grab ahold of this bar with some rope attached and you pull as hard as you can and you have to be able to pull a certain amount of weight. And after each exercise they take your heart rate and then you have about a minute to rest. It's not very hard, but if you want to prepare for it now you can do some squats and push ups -
There was one guy in our class that did not pass but he was morbidly obese, I'm talking take-up-2-seats-cant-hardly-walk kind of obese (poor guy). I think he couldn't get up on the trailer. There were other older overweight fellas in the class that passed tho.
