I ignored most of your posts, but I caught wiseone's, if I am changing in front of a man and he says nice ####. I would first think he is joking and say back, thanks I keep it in good shape plowing into women. It's really not an issue as long you aren't looking at porn when you're supposed to be working.

In my "younger" days, I took enormous pleasure from "burning crops". But my "crop of choice" wasn't corn. puff-puff-pass, puff-puff-pass

anybody asking that kind of question in an environment like this is just looking for some #### attention. keep that crap to yourself. now with that being said, I am in no way discriminating. If that's what floats your boat then so be it. I just hate, sorry dislike those people who bring it up for attention. If he can do the job w/out bringing his personal life into it, which most people can do then more power to him. If not, find a different job.

GasHauler -- I owe you an apology. You were not disrespectful in your response. I was so surprised by the content of some of the responses that I let it spill over into my interpretation of your reply as well. Re-reading it, though -- which I should have done before typing my response -- I see I was wrong.

I always get into trouble when I speak without thinking first. Sometimes I need a thwack upside the head, I'm afraid. I'm sorry. :biggrin_2558:

Homophobia is the fear of oneness or sameness. No homophobia here!

My sister is gay and so are all her friends. I get along fine with them. But I do notice that with gay people, their sexuality is the centerpiece of their lives, and that's not good, no matter who you like to bunk with.

    Just my two centavos.

I was a trainer, and I recommend not telling your sexual preference. I hope everything works out for ya. :biggrin_25519:

I think it's hilarious that everyone knows and is "friends" with a gay person. I mean almost every posts someone is "Friends" with a gay person. How buddy buddy can you be with someone who is so different from you. I don't know about women but every male conversation I have ever had involves some type of sexual reference. Usually about a woman.
So what am I supposed to say while talking with my gay "friend", hey did you see the *** on that one? Oh wait I'm sorry I was talking about the woman.
    See how uncomfortable this gets?

You need to be more concerned about operating a tractor-trailer safely than about "gay" issues.

I would advise not telling your trainer that you are gay. He/She might freak out.

Personally, (and as the joke goes) I'm trysexual--I'll try anything. But if I was your trainer, I think it would be more important that you learn how to safely operate the truck. And if tell your trainer you are gay, then your trainer will tend to not pay as much attention to developing professional driving skills.

For example, if I had a female trainer, and every 15 minutes I told her that I enjoy sex w/women, she might not be comfortanble and in the right state of mind to show me how to back a trailer, you understand?

You will meet every kind of person out on the road, and don't worry, being gay (I'm sure) is nothing new.

The main thing is that you be professional, and while in training, you get the most you can from your training. Most trainers have much to offer, and if you parade your sexuality openly, you might miss the point of training.
