Your best bet if you want to set up a shop is look for a place in your local area where local and over the road truckers both hang out like a large truck stop. But if you are in the area i think you are your pretty much in no mans land for that. But it can be done by setting up a shop in your garage if you want i started a shop that way years ago and built it into a hell of a business and sold it before i went over seas. The trick and the key is good work and word of mouth positive advertisement.

When the current CB state is continually bombarded by the legalist/elitist that troll this forum spewing
FCC fire and brimstone its no wonder folks run the SQ full to the right

Add to that the new crews from the mega fleets that act like
a bunch of socialites in Land Cruisers with armor-all tires
out trail riding to test their new "skill sets"

There MANY that still believe and WFO is the only way to roll

You should assume the same position as your god head
and tend to your own affairs till there is a problem.

Technically/legally you are correct. Realistically/practically we might as well be.......exempt that is......with a few exceptions.

    Mike ......

He still does not get it HAMS don't make any rules and he does not either ..... Under the comunications act of 1934 they hold the power to run radio as they see fit.

    95.404 (CB Rule 4) Do I need a license?

You do not need an individual license to operate a CB station. You are authorized by this rule to operate your CB station in accordance with
    the rules in this subpart.

If you don't like any rule go get it changed ..... The FCC even had a comment request ASKING CBersabout how they would like to change rules and even a few rules they were loooking into.

I have no idea if it got anyplace ....

Just in case I am one of those "socialites" you are referring to. I have a 91 Landcruiser w 285k miles. I also use a wheelchair and in this area most of the country is out of cell range. Looking to get a CB for safety reasons.

    josh.c and WA4GCH Thank this.
