ive been with them about 2 months now. so far so good for me. have a few nics about the company but its not the company itself its the people working for the company. i.e another guy that started with me has been late on every single load. run over his clock many times and he got a new truck before me. haha. but hes out of a different terminal. and i hate waiting for loads. but thats only when my dispatcher is off. could the pay be better?? couldnt it always.. but i am happy. i dont have anyone jumping down my throat or dispatching me to places i do not want to go. ive been driving since i was 18. started running loads from philly to pitts. did that until i got on with an otr company. then a family illness called me home and i had to let it go. so i now in my 4th year of driving got on with TA and im not all that disappointed as everyone else seems to be. but i dont have anything to go home too. would i rather be anywhere else?? yes, i would rather run a flatbed. only because i am a very active person. 22 years old, 5'11'' 140 lbs. so i am not into the drop an hooks. but i dont mind them all that much. anyways im happy with them. and happy thanksgiving. im sitting at a terminal waiting on a driver to drop a relay load so i can get moving.

Your short and to the point message is very clear to me, and I'm quite sure some others, "Great attitude". Keep up the good work and be safe this holiday.

johnboy where abouts in lake worth do you run out of? i use to live there on 14th s and G. and 2nd s and d. also lived in loxahatchee and greenacres. grew up in that hell hole.

P.S every company is what you make of it. go into it with a mindset thats its going to suck and guess what??!! its gonna suck. have a good attitude about it and you will get treated good.JohnBoy Thanks this. -
I live off 441 and Lake Worth Rd. My wife and I had our house built in Homeland about 7 years ago. We use to live in Parkland for 10 years before that.

thats a nice place to live. the only place i miss down there is loxahatchee. i was just down there in june and even there its not the same. its way too over crowded now. but anything south of southern and west of 441 or jog rd seems to stay pretty decent.

i hate to be a hypocrite BUT... after delivering a load on time i get a load out of huron ky to pittsbugh pa, its around 280 miles or so. i left grove city oh around 1pm stopped and had turkey from dennys because thats what i was told to do. dropped my trailer 5pm est. found out my load was going to be PICKED until 11pm est. so ok no big deal. called my dispatch "hey there is no way i am going to be able to make it on time for this load out of here". ok no problem we will find you another load, ok great. new load comes through. same load but im relaying it 114 miles and getting paid for 114 miles at .34 a mile. ON A HOLIDAY. so far this week i have made around 339. its thursday. pay cut off is saturday. im not one to complain about where i work. but this is the FIRST time i have ever been royally shafted. let alone i just got a message that went fleet wide saying we may not be able to get people home because we have SOO much freight moving right now. just really pissed me off.
