Well yesterday I had to go to south atlanta to get rid of my backhaul and as I passed the 85 get off everything went to ****. I was in the middle lane behind another truck when a container decided to pass me on the right side, just as he gets pass me the pad (landing gear rests on) decides to fall of and slides in front of me. It happened so quick I couldn't go to the hammer lane due to 4 wheelers so my r/s wheel hits it and explodes, the truck took a hard left turn running one car off the road but luckly not under my trailer. The container driver seen and heard everything going on behind him since he seen me nearly roll over plus another driver who was behind was yelling at him on the radio and he slowed and pulled to the shoulder but by the time I got out of the truck he was gone. That sucks but you know that's ok like I said nobody was hurt and as much as it upsets me the tire can be replaced. I'm gonna put my truck in the shop friday and repair my fender so maybe all will be ok. I said all that just to say if you screw up like that whether it's your fault or not stand up and take some responsiblity. I realize something like that falling off isn't something a driver expects and to be honest I've never seen that happen before but it did. This just shows how things can happen, drivers be safe this holiday season.

Glad you and everyone are ok. One of the reasons I hate areas like Atlanta traffic. Because not matter what you do you can't plan an out. Everyone is going as fast a possible, no gaps and unsafe lane changes.

    Have a good Turkey Day.
