Was sent a message last week that I had been followed by the "third eye" and that I "maintained a safe and proper speed" and that I also "practiced safe and proper following distances." This knocked off two points from my RA.I wondered if I would ever get "caught." Glad I did.
Apparently, I'm a good driver...

Good job driver..!
I always wonder if im being followed when im rolling into major metropolitan areas as well, cause we all know company drivers are no where near otheres on the open highway, lol. -
Congrats DC! Keep up the good work.

Congrats. It is always nice to get those calls or messages. I have received 3 in the last few years. It feels real good, and found that the word does get passed down.
-
If someone told me he was lookin at me with his "third eye" I'd hafta give him a "black eye"

Congrats just the same! Its always nice to get positive feedback for 99% good work instead of hollered at for the 1% when you screw up.. -
Cool
We have those companies looking out (spying) on us.
Never seen them, but just the idea is typically in the back of my mind, so I tend, especially in bigger cities, to be mindful of speed, following distance, all that good stuff.
I think if we are caught and are doing well, like you were, we get a gift card.
What is a RA? -
What is the "third eye?" What is an "RA?"
-
Swift has hired a company to do safety checks on us. They roll up on us and check our speed, following distance, and things along that line. The RA is a Swift report card for safety ranking. It has a special name but according to their formula it determines how safe we all are. Negative numbers are best. It takes lots of stuff into account including call ins, which diminishes its creditability in my opinion.mustang970, DC CAB and Tapeworm Thank this.

Exactly. RA stands for Risk Analysis. Like inkeper said, it's kind of like an inhouse MVR.mustang970 Thanks this.

Swift Safety was feeling like they weren't being allowed to participate in the gubermint program....so they hired their own Big Brother!
Big Brother is watching! and they don't even use a helicopter....not black...just no helicopter!inkeper Thanks this.
