If you joined Schneider on the 6/3, you will be disappointed in the pay. How much you will make I cannot answer, but you don't make money by sitting.
I am out of the Columbus hub, and talk to 6/3 drivers a lot, they complain they don't get a lot of miles. I would imagine, if you are only staying out 6 days, it limits the loads they can give you, because they have to make sure they can get you back.
I stay out 4-5 weeks at a time, and get plenty of miles, and I still make it home frequently, it seems I am taking loads thru Columbus all the time.

I work the 14/7 with Schneider. Make decent money.
In your case. You just have to realize what it is you're asking them to do. Plan to run you for 3, maybe 4 days. Then start working you back toward the house.
Depending on you, your DBL, and the load planners. Your pay could be decent one week. Then suck the next. It's a mixed bag no matter how you work or who you work for. OTR, regional, or whatever.
Your first year earnings ? Difficult to say there. But you should expect at least $35k either way. Again, this will depend on you and 20 other variables. -
I am sitting on a greyhound headed to memphis tonight, and start orientation tomorrow morning, I will be running a regional out of nashville, with a promise to get home every weekend... does anyone else run this regional... if you can you give me some insight, i am an experienced driver, so i dont think ill have a problem with all the training.

You will probably run under ferris out of lebanon tn its actually in a pilot upstairs. Ferris is a good dbl who does his best to get you home when your supposed to be home. Your weekend home time will probably be 34 hours most times. I used to run under ferris when he was system out of west memphis and he kept me running. i averaged 3100 miles even when freight was slow but i kept moving and stayed out 3 weeks at a time. Good Luck

They'll be trying to round somebody up to come get you. Hang tight, might take a few.

Welcome to the club.
Be patient, and straight forward with your expectations when you get to talk to your DBL. Otherwise, you'll only be hurting yourself. -
Thanks. Its not what I'm asking of them though. That was one of three openings I applied for. Decided on that one for a few reasons , one of which was not sure i'm comfortable with slip seating. Puts me at the mercy of someone else abusing the equipment. Not saying I'd be a perfect driver or anything. But with an assigned truck ,I would get used to THAT truck and its quirks. Plus I'd be the only one I could look at if something was driver error caused.
