Still chillin' waiting on the getting close call. I finally spoke with my driver trainer and he should be here around 1pm I guess. Got a load headed for Tifton, GA first and then???? He said we shouldn't be out past Wednesday afternoon. Doesn't really matter to me, if the wheels are rollin' we are making money. A friend of mine told me this morning that we are "coin operated". lol

We have ezpass plus not real sure how it works yet. I don't think they like you to idle but from what I hear if it's hot they want you to stay cool. I was at the main terminal last night in greensboro, nc and there must have been 4 to 5 trucks out there that idled all night.

NO. OTR training is 6 weeks total and you are home each week during the training just like the trainer.

    jvar4001 Thanks this.

I just finished my first of six training weeks and EVERY thing you saw on the web page is true so far. Epes is a great company to work for, weekly home time, brand new equipment, seem to be plenty of miles and drivers that seem to want to stay awhile. Problem is they have a pretty tough set of standards to meet before you make it to the training trucks. I like that kind of problem. It means they are looking for quality people and won't hire you if you're not.

The Challenger and 1catfish Thank this.
