Ok so i start with ACT next week as a lease operator. This is my first time doing a lease program so i am a little unsure of what all is going to take place. All i know is i want to own the truck at some point, I want to own a KW, and i want to make good money. All i hear is DO NOT LEASE. BigKid if you are making the money your saying your making, which i am sure you are, and they really are that good a company, then i am ready to go my question is. I live in Nashville, i want to turn miles and make money but have no ambition to go to the northeast or way west of here. How often you think i will get through Nashville (as a guess) and If i stay more or less between arkansas, iowa, and everything east and southeast of that can i make good money still.

EasyMoney, I start orientation on Monday, I'll let you know how orientation goes and what my thoughts are about the experience. I checked into the hotel this morning, and I have to say that I am impressed so far. This is a very nice hotel, has a pool, hot tub, workout facilities, restaurant and a lounge. The breakfast that is provided at no cost, is a full buffet and not the traditional continental breakfast. I'd suggest joining the Holiday Inn Priority Club, you get an additional $5 off on dinner.

What I was told by recruiting is that we run basically I-35 east. Rarely do we run the Northeast, and it is non forced to NYC. You should be able to get thru the house pretty regularly living in Nashville. I live in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area which is a huge freight based area for them. Good luck to you, and have a safe trip here next week.

Boss Hoss, i am also wanting to hear how your orientation goes. I talked with Kimberly on friday. Havent made up my mind yet. Some of the things BigKid has posted seem to good to be true. Not that i dont believe, just would like to hear someone elses view. We've all heard the horror stories out there. Im only 80 miles north of kansas city and seems like ACT haules a lot a freight threw there so could be a great fit for ma as far as hometime or at least stopping by the house.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell y'all this about the hotel. You DON'T share a room and they give you a room with a nice comfortable king bed, nice flat screen t.v., and you have wifi for the computer. Sorry for leaving that out. You can also fallow me on my thread "Made my decision.....American Central Transport (ACT) it is".

Hey Easymoney i tried to pm u but it wont let me due to i have to have 7 post first. You will have to tell us how it goes for you. Maybe all we've read is true...i hope. I did a lease once before with a small company that left me almost bankrupt so im being real cautious about this.

Been off the computer for a few days. Our running areas are pretty much midwest, southeast and south. You will go to KC a lot. I would say I get through Nashville about once a week. Everything I have posted on here is true and ACT knows and reads my posts on here so I am pretty sure they would not like me lying about things.

Everything I have posted is true on here. One thing that makes my numbers good is I do get good fuel mileage by not running very fast. I rarely drive over 55 mph.
