Considering looking into the expediting side and would like some opinions/facts on some of the more reputable companies out there.Would actually like to hear the good as well as the bad.Any info would be helpful such as choosing sprinter, straight or tractor.Just needing a heads up on starting with who to check with and so on and so forth. Thanks for your time and help
Looking for a little advice

Are you planning on buying a truck or driving for a fleet owner ? If driving for a fleet owner you need references from other drivers . It is highly recommended to start with a fleet owner to decide if this is what you really want to do without having to invest in a truck .
First off the 4th quarter is pretty slow in expedite . Best to wait until at least March .
Stay away from Sprinters . That's the easy way in and HOS doesn't apply unless carrying hazmat so too many people choose that route . You'll end up sitting more .
Straight truck is the most popular choice . You can park many places a semi can't .
There are less competing vehicles with tractors so you can get to run more . -
Appreciate the info RickG,just trying to gather all the info I can feel free to hit me up anytime with more information. Thanks again

I would say have a reefer unit on the box also. Opens up the freight types and the amount of money to be made.
