Remove the name National from your post and insert any number of company names.

I'm really surprised to read your experience with this company.A friend of mine used to drive for them & he was very happy. He would tell me that his pay checks were around $800.00(give or take a few dollars) take home & his home time was good also.He told me that most of the time he would take at least 3 days off & he wouldn't run no more than 3 weeks straight.Well I guess they're not doing so great anymore,oh well you just gotta move on driver & find something that works for you but plz. don't expect every company to pay for your travel expenses to & from orientation. You have to understand that they're taking a risk by paying for your travel & who knows if you're even gonna last with them, that's probably why some of these companies don't offer that.

1.5 days for a 700 miles load, it doesn't sound like a lie, most of the companies would dispatch like that.

NDL runs me a whole lot tighter than that. Usually just enough for my 10hr breaks, pretrip & fueling. A 700mi run would generally deliver in about 23-24hrs. But I'm not complaining. I've got about 12,000mi this month. Sure beats sitting. :)

These two statements aren't lies for sure. I don't know anything about the rest of it, but let's face it. This is one mans perception of a company, take it for what it is. Feel free to dissent, just throw in a counterpoint other than, it's all lies. That would have been like if the OP said NDL SUCKS, 'NUFF SAID!

If he says they are the worst he has ever driven for, I have to take him at his word. I know nothing of his experiences here or elsewhere. But what I'd rather do is to offer him to PM me and maybe we can figure out where this is all going off the rails for him. Because my experience here has been the mirror opposite of what he describes. I've got 3044mi this week, had 3486 week before, 1229 week before that (down 2.5 days for PM and repairs), 4230 the week before that. I just don't get it.

As far as them not caring whether you are cold or hot... they got me right in to fix things when my A/C went out in the desert SW this past summer. They even sprung for motel rooms at night during the 100F weather in Texas as I made my way back to Sellersburg. And my bunk heater? It'll blow you out of here with it's heat!
