Exactly. What are the standards? According to georgeandson it would be someone who had at least the same level of experience and tenure as his trainer. With the turnover in this industry that standard is completely unacheivable. The only entity that could possibly regulate such things is the Fed. Oh wait, they do, 160 hrs of book/drive time in a trucking school and you're certified.

That's why I stay away from truckstops, they are a known cause of decrease in brain cells. According to georgeandson, his thin driving resume may not even qualify himself as experienced enough to train. Soooooo, if true, then one can't take the position held by the esteemed georgeandson. One can't speak as an authority if one doesn't have the authority. Does anyone else see the connection in this conundrum? George? At times, running a troll back to the underpass can be moderately entertaining.

The standard of hiring a trainer has plummeted. 2 years exp a while back wouldn't of got you two weeks vac and a pay raise, more less a trainer status.
