Independent Contractor

    My husband is leased to a carrier and is currently training the carriers employees that are fresh out of trucking school. He has been doing this approximately a year and now is contemplating contracting a driver to run team with him. I have read over several of the threads and they are very helpful but my question is - are there any sites I can go to so I can find sample contractor agreements?

    Check with your husbands carrier. Some have very specific items they want in a contract.

    Also check with OOIDA. We use their contract for our lease operators.

    He really can't "contract" a co driver, he needs to hire one as a employee.
