    This whole page, page 16....
Someone in upper-upper management should read it and absorb it.

And yes, amen, and what he said to all of it.

It appears that they tweaked something in the program over the weekend. For the past 2 days, I have able to set my pta when I do macro 2 and 4. Yay!

I think it is getting closer to what they were aiming for. When they started it the preplans had the window for times and then the dispatch would be obscene. The next load assignments I've been getting lately are the obscene things. I deny with mac 9 and tell them when I can (want) to do the load and it responds almost imediately yay or nay. Then the load assignment come at you with windows you wouldn't believe. Just remember what times you told them you could do the load, because it remembers and will let you know too!

It still doesn't seem to account for the current load you are on. I have a 1500 del tomorrow and it keeps trying to give me loads that deliver 500 miles away at 0600 the next morning. Yeah I might be able to get there before then but I won't have any hours avbl when the apt time comes around. Stupid computer just can't seem to figure this out.

Decline it and put in what you can do....it will either give it to you or remove it. It seems to try and push the earliest times on us without regard to our hours available.

Thats what I did on that load. The annoying thing is they took it off me and 30 minutes later here comes another preplan, same load, same times. Like somehow the hos rules just changed in that half hour and now I can do it. Not a bad load if I were just starting my clock when it was picking up it would be no problem, it just doesn't seem to get that I have to drive 130 miles to my first delivery, wait for live unload and then I can go get it.

All you can do is decline it until the (human) planners tell you that 'you are the only available truck, plz accept no service failure', or they reschedule the load.

Discovered another little quirk today. For the auto adjust to happen you have to enter both eta for pu and del in the mac 9, even if you can make the given pu appointment but not the del appointment.

Injun, Tapeworm and capthook Thank this.
