Best thing is to get a good night's sleep, don't study on the day you're taking the test (the brain needs sleep to process the info in). And eat a reasonable breakfast. Here's some more concrete advice:
1) Don't just look at the question to see if you know the answer or not; dig a little deeper and see if you can figure out one or two answers that you know it's NOT. If you have four choices on a question, you have a 25% chance of getting it right, but if you can eliminate one answer your chances go up to 33% and if you can eliminate two you've got a 50/50 chance, if you see what I mean.
2) All else being equal, meaning if you don't have any idea which one is right, it's worth looking at the longest answer. It's often that one because they don't go to so much trouble making up long, wrong answers.
3) Finally, see how much fun you can have out of it. I know that probably sounds like a bad joke, but you'll do better if you can manage to relax, with or w/out beer (LOL!)
God bless you. I'll be praying. I mean it. -

I had to do my learners twice... took the first failure as a learning tool for the next time round. As far as I know they dont count how many times you write your learners to pass it!
Good luck!
