If you want cheaper XM subscription price, call them up to cancel.. they offered me a reduction then asked if I'd go for it. I said no. They repeated this 3 times until it was down to $25 for 5 months.

That's $5/month. As compared to the $12 it is now (and increasing in 2012).

I'm not sure if they're doing it because they're losing customers with the proposed price hike or what; or maybe they always do this? I can't say..

Anyway, I still said no. Haha.

Glad I opted for the lifetime subscription for $350 when they first came out :)
7 years with it so far and loved every minute of it

I called to cancel mine when my radio broke. Not only did they give me a new radio for free they also gave me 9 months of free service. You just got to know how to talk to them.
