I just wanted to say that I know from experience it is tough out there looking for work. I do believe that there are still enough trucks out there in need of a driver so DON'T GIVE UP! ....Don't let these companies get the best of you! Yes, they are being very, very, picky but there is work out there we just have to locate it ....
Be creative and think outside the box. There are many different driving jobs out there. Most popular Van: general freight, ect Refer food and sensitive freight, flat bed building materials, equipment ect, car haulers...well duh cars...lol...then theirs hoppers/belly dump, end dump, even side dump, concrete and more.....think grain, water, fuel, ect... I posted this in case the brain is a little cluttered right now ... It gets that way when we think to long and to hard...THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX...THINK SMART! .....You memebers out there please be watching for jobs and take the time to post them for these guys and gals you MAY just be the one that helps keep a family feed and a roof over there kids head!.....

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
Companies I called that ARE HIRING as of May 29, 2009
