fixing the plug on a k40 mic.

    I have A k40 mic and I noticed it would not key up . I was on the road and bought A new one and it works fine the black piece on the end of the plug that inserts into the hole on the cb is real loose can this be fixed or should I throw it away . many thanks Bighig :dontknow:

    $5 repair at a decent CB shop. $10 if plug needed also, $5 to simply rewire. If they quote over that go somewhere else.
