is there an web page for Quality Carriers? Are the only o/o? I am looking for a "good" company, as a company driver. Eventually would like to be an O/O in a few years; just not right now.
    thanks

That's usually why most owners want husband/wife or same household teams in their trucks. All the money goes to the same house and it's easier to keep a team together if they live together.

Do your homework on this outfit......
You are not likely to get ANYONE at Panther to answer your questions...at least TRUTHFULLY and if they do answer ANYTHING, they tend to leave out alot of important details, mostly on purpose!
You get 2 days of "orientation" there, an hour of which is on "Qualcomm", which is NOT near enough and the dispatchers have never seen a truck, must less been in one, LOL

Well let me add this to the mix I can show you that there deadhead stats are so wrong it is almost criminal there will change the deadhead pay to flat rate and take out the deadhead miles to show 0 that way when the recruiter pulls the stats it shows way less that really is. This is so wrong on so many levels but that aside I have a question about fuel surcharge. Did not our government pass the law that the person that buys the fuel will get 100% the fuel surcharge on loads. If so how does panther require you to sign a paper that gives you stuck turned fuel surcharge in stead of what they really receive. I worked for an owner on 60/40 I got the FSC and it is a lot hire than what they pay and they only pay that on loaded miles. So my question is are they not breaking federal law by requiring that owners sign these aggrements as a term for there contract? I have wondered this for a long time and would like to get opinions on this subject.

Well also gives the driver the best possible pay buy letting them save on fuel if they get there foot out of the peddle and shut of the truck when they go to eat. As any truck operater knows that if you do these things you can gain up to 1.5 miles per gallon and that my friend is a lot at the end of the week yet alone the end of the year. My team take home and extra 200 to 500 week by saving fuel. It is up to the driver and the owner more profit or setting in truckstops because you are to early to deliver. Panther allows 47 miles per hour plus 15 minutes on all loads. There is know reason in this world to drive 70 miles an hour to get there unless you keep your left door open at the truckstops more than to eat and fuel.

This is in response to the 60/40 split that most owners at panther give there drivers. Sorry for the confusion I didn't hit the quote button
