Drivers needed (Panther Expedited)

This thread I hope will help find good drivers interested in making good money for honest Owners to get together. I for one can tell any owners out there that depending on Panther to find drivers is at best useless. So hopefully we owners can find good drivers to man our trucks.

 

I will start I run T/T units and would prefer man wife teams but would consider any team. Singles sorry it would be very hard for you to make money with panther that it would probably not end well for either of us. Preference to have hazMat but not required. Must be Panther qualified of course. I don't have any straight trucks at this time but maybe in future. Also Panther now has training program for T/T drivers with no experience. Must call panther for details.

 

Well it has been since July I think and if you have a class a and no experience than you would have to take a refresher course at a panther approved school than perform 6 mo. Training under a qualified. Panther t/t driver with no less than 3 years experience and a least 90 days with Panther.than after 6 mo you can become first seat and get your own truck or team with someone you choose. But the floriday thing really hurts you because last spring panther lost there one good client in Florida so there is nothin coming out of there but low balled freight and with truck payments upwards of 700 wk whom can afford to get stuck or loose two day getting back haul out of Florida to even pay for the fuel.

 

From what I have seen they are good but their is a lot of variables that would contribute to those figures. Like hazmat....Canada ...... Reefer......DOD approved......single or team. I personally do well but I know people that don't do so well. People have hard time make the quick decisions to make good calls on what freight to take and what to avoid. I have talk to FedEx owners and some say good and some say bad. Same thing with Panther. Key is to learn the system than use it to your advantage I mean picture the load as a Cow in the middle of the room. Panther on one side and you on the other. The cow only has so much milk whom is going to get their bucket the fullest??? Most days if you do it right it will be even but if you miss something you will get less milk sometimes you just have to give a little to get a little.
