If you do go to the Gary OC during regular business hours especially, make sure to wear your slip proof boots. The safety manager walks around all the time and he's crazy when it comes to those boots. I got chewed out once already and that's the last time LOL
Even better, buy a pair of gym shoes that are steel toed and have slip proof soles. Then wear them in the OC and mess with him. I know one guy that specifically puts on his slip proof gym shoes just to mess with the safety mgr, and then when he got chewed out, he threw it right back at him LOL -
This time of yea they really crack down on wearing the Boots. I always wear mine this time of year but in the summer i hardly wear them i usually wear sneaker's but i will put on boots first thing in am when fueling i don't want to get my sneakers smelling like Diesel.
As far as a dress code i dress in Jeans and a button up shirt or Polo shirt in the winter as well as a Sweatshirt or jacket. In the summer i wear khaki shorts and a polo or even a schneider T shirt. I try and shave every other day if not everyday. But sometimes i only shower every other day. I never go more than 1 day without a shower, theses driver's who can't find time to shower every other day have their priorities wrong. lol
There are driver's who stink to hi heaven, i don't know how they live with them selves. I mean everywhere we fuel there are free showers, Pilot, The Hook, and OC's. I mean come on and clean that stank A@@stevep1977 Thanks this.
