    Great post here guys...looking to go down there myself, I know there has to be more work than what is advertised online so I wanna go check it out...coming from 10 yrs of road construction in IL but this state stinks for work, so off I go

    Well, made it to Texas this past Wednesday. Was offered a job with Trimac Thurs. Start training and basic crap next week. Just have to pass the ole P test and agility stuff. Looks like the gamble may pay off. Keep y'all updated lol

    That's exactly what I did, drove for a big concrete company in Chicago for ten years and the market just disappeared, packed my #### and moved south. There is work down here for ANYONE with a CDL.
