hey guys I have a question. I delivered a load in Pensacola on Friday morning at 5:30 am. When the load was completed I did my mac's including 6 saying I would be ready for my next load at 10:00 am. At 4 pm after messaging my DM several times I called the FM. He finally got me a load but it's not picked up until Monday at 10 am and is only 150 miles away. This effectively shut me down in Pensacola for 3 days.
As a new driver I am not sure if this qualifies for layover pay or if I am screwed. These 2 loads will only net me 1300 miles for the week and I lost 3 days of driving time over the weekend.
Does it qualify and how do I go about getting it if it does ....

Anyone know the driver that tipped over in the Ca wind. I guess it was really bad out there. I am in MD, finally got a load out to PA and then AZ
Don't know him but saw the truck n trailer. He got pretty lucky. Only got a concussion. The guard rail went through the top of the cab about 8in above the top of the drivers seat. His microwave hit him in his head. Another brand new truck bites the dust. Hope he recovers quickly. -
Checked 3 places, all sold out. I like Leather UP. Good site, but out of stock.

Send in a mac 54. It is something that you should be able to get layover pay for. You may need to speed to you regular dm tomorrow, but you should get it. Only if your company though. O/O you are screwed.

Coors is great for solos or even teams. But I see u are from Sacramento not likly you will be able to get on. They don't run ca anymore. So it would be very hard for you to get hometime. Too bad because it is a good fleet to be on. Solos are running over 3000 miles a week. They run Alot from denver to south east. But hey give it a try. Good luck -
This is precious.. I am at a shipper who charges $3,000 if you are late and after waiting 2.5 hours they are now unloading me...
Yes I said $3k.
Least I have fresh hot coffee.. Made it myself.
