Any of you Crete drivers on e-logs yet, and if so, how is it going?
-
Ive been on elogs for about a year and a half. There are some quirks to them...and especially now that Im dedicated..but for the most part they are just fine.
-
Have you had a reduction in miles from paper? I'm just wondering because I'm leaving Schneider and heading to Crete after January 1st.....I've been on e-logs since August of 2010 and really don't want to go back to paper....
-
no reduction in miles at all...a total elimination of any fudging. So, you'll have to run legally...period. When its one hour til your time is up, you;ll be focused on finding a place to park. No big deal.
48Packard Thanks this. -
Cool. No, I don't have any issues with mine either, with the rare exception of getting hung up in NYC. My main problem with SNI is that the miles just aren't what they could be. I rarely have to take a 34, even if I'm out 21 days or more. I'm hoping to do better at Crete. I appreciate the input.

WTH...32 deg last night E. of Omaha, and the washer fluid is froze up in the lines somewhere. I guess I didn't notice any "-20" etc type of markings on the jug the Shop gave me. And apparently I don't have enough Windex in it to have kept it from freezing.
The first snow and ice driving of the year, for me. Oh boy...
Heard of a Cretian trk on its side about the 40mm on I-80 in IA last night. This morning a fellow here in Omaha on the CB said "about 18 trks in the ditch w. of Lincoln, and 3x that of cars from the 370 to 220 mm". So I guess I'm not in a hurry after all.
Trucks were flyin' by me last nite on the ice at 55+. I suppose it is some of them in the ditch to the west, huh. BTW, I was the guy w/the 4-ways on, goin' about 37 mph...
I know, I know.
When I'm on lots of ice, I like to think "how fast do I want to crash"?,,,and I know how fast to drive.
Hey, it works for me.
Heading out to Denver soon. This should be a photo-op day.
JimBob24 and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Nothing wrong with running slow on snow and ice there driver. You got to park in a truckstop while some of the speed demons spent their time in the ditch. Kudos to you sir!
-
excellent data... question did you track and maintain that data in MS Office ?
-
It's probably not consistent at all Pilots . Some use a biodiesel blend , others don't . It's probably required to use biodiesel in some states so you'll have the problem no matter where you buy fuel .
We hven't hd any problems with Pilot fuel .
