From what I saw during orientation that MAY be a problem. Best way to find out is to talk to a recruiter, BE HONEST TOTALLY and see what they say. Being a misdemeanor and not a felony it MAY be ok.
There was one guy in our class who didn't report a recent harassment charge and because he falsified that application he got sent home.
Major piece of advice: BE TOTALLY HONEST both on the online app and the paper app when you get here. They are using an FBI database and NOTHING slips through!
We were told at our first meeting, "they are looking for HONEST people, not ANGELS. Good luck.bseam Thanks this. -
no ideas is right barely got enough room for the equipment have but ive seen double flats before and they can keep that
-
You'd have to put um on the top bunk or something lol I dont even have room for what I got... My tarps are strapped down to the trailer anytime theres room lol They can definitely keep the doubles... Id have to get even more "creative" with my parking if I had doubles. This is the first time in 3 breaks at t/s that Ive actually been in a spot... If my truck will fit, n theres no sign specifically saying I cant park there... Thats where Im parking if I cant find anything else.
-
Just be carfull. In some states if you are not in a leagel space and some one hit you then you are liable for the damage to there truck. Userly driving around for a few minuets of get on the CB and ask if someone is leaving soon gets results.
-
I don't have a cb.... Yet.
-
Be careful where you park... if its not a "real marked space" it'll earn you a preventable accident if someone hits you.
-
So what do you suggest when you are out of hrs. pulling into a truck stop....excuse me travel center, and every space is taken?
-
Better planning, and being creative at what you use for parking. You only get so much HOS leeway at Prime, and most of that is in the few opportunities they will give you to exceed the hours of service. If you can't deal with that, then you'll find yourself looking out someone else's windshield.
-
So in other words stop and park sooner than you wanted to stop?
