Was in Marshfield last night getting my truck worked on. Got a relay load all the way to Bloomington, Mn that doesn't deliver until 0830 on Monday. I got ahead of the weather and left this morning. It was icy as hell in MArshfield this morning!

Now sitting in the TA in Hudson, WI. Got here at noon and don't have to move until Monday morning so my hours will be reset. Good thing too because its snowing like crazy here. At least its supposed to clear up tomorrow.

I could have gotten a bit closer to my delivery. Only like 35 miles out so no worries. At least I am in Wisconsin because I know they will have the Giants/Packers game on tomorrow! Went to borrow the car last night in Marshfield and the mechanic goes you aint getting #### with that jersey on. I realized I had my Giants jersey on and he had a Packers sweatshirt. We both laughed.

    Oh well, stay safe all!!!

Impossible to progressive shift in my truck because of auto-shift crap! Even in Manual mode it won't allow to shift at the lower rpms.

On top of that, the mpg's just keep dropping and I'm positive something is wrong with this truck but can't seem to get near a terminal long enough to get it looked at.

I shouldn't have to change the fuel filter every two weeks, especially when I was home four of those 14 days.

Hell even in my new truck I am making 6.3 mpg... Of course I have an unknown MALFUNTION and pulling a Curtain with that huge sail up front, but other than that I should be getting better mileage... hhhhmmmmm

I'm just bustin on you guys, you should have been thru the interoffice training session. It was funny because they changed the numbers they were using when someone asked if the new routing would hurt the MPG. So they made the numbers fit their priorities.

And just to be sure, you should write down all of your fuel purchases and your beginning and ending hubs. Calculate your own MPG and make sure they're running the number right. Not saying that they didn't do it right in the past, but that is something that could drive a certain dispatcher crazy. I wouldn't know anything about that, nope, nothing.

so I just read a news story from Jacksonville...it seems last night an Airplane made and emergency landing on I295...and pulled into the shoulder...JSO (Jacksonville Sheriffs office) are currently looking for a truck driver that clipped the wing of the plane as it sat on the shoulder...How would you like to make that call to saftey..."yeah I just hit a plane on the interstate" I really think they would fall on the floor laughing at you...cause really come on who of us expects to find an airplane on the interstate...LOL
