i'm with the callers on the trucker channel. we all need to ban together and tell the govt to F off.

most of us drive by the old rules anyways. who does the govt think they are telling us when we have to go to sleep and how long we have to sleep.
if we can't control our bodies. what makes the govt think THEY can.

and to put safety ratings on us NOW. along with the employment verification. and making us park somewhere for 34 hours. they can kiss my ###.

i feel sorry for all you running electronic.

the canadian truckers went against the govt in 1990. we need to do the same.

 

got loaded in vegas yesterday. along with 3 central flatbeds. they were trying to tell me they have a friend that makes pretty good on the lease and that i should do the same. i asked them why they weren't leasing.

i have no desire to lease to ANYONE. and i most certainly have no desire to run under company electronic log rules. i'm not spending my entire day ON DUTY. thats 600 miles of making no money.

 

Its freezing here! Clear cold nights, sposed tp get down to 18 tonight Brrrrr!

 

unloaded at 8. waitging for my 6 load time. and trucks are backed up. 12 hours ON DUTY instead of HOME TIME.

22 degrees and light snow at the idaho border on 16.

 

given the high speed of winds through the western states. it took 6 truckers to tarp one truck. we all helped each other out. so i had to be nice.

 

Wasn't given the time to take a reset this trip. Hit the road at 1300 today. Omaha sucked. Snowing and slick. Accidents everywhere. Snow strted about 1030 and by the time I left, a couple of inches was already on the ground. 15 miles south, nothing but rain and didn't get out of that, till I was east of st louis and on I 64.

Another Millard's CS load but this time , south of Atlanta. Hauling Otis spunmeyer muffins. Woo hoo

 

Not missing all the Snow and ice Not missing Subway or Wendy's but am missing the travel!

 

guess i better go pick up the truck and start heading to vegas before the snow starts flying.
