Yeah, not to mention linehaul is more money, which is what im actually doing right now, even though its not really supposed to work that way. You are either a city driver, or a linehaul driver, but we are really slow so they are using me for both.
I definitely prefer the city.

That's awesome for you! It sounds like you really have it made.
I sure do wish you worked out of the Louisville terminal so at least there would be at least somebody I "know" if they hire me. Do you prefer the city because it keeps you from getting bored?

Wow,what a holier than thou attitude we have toward Otr drivers.Have you ever been down cabbage with 80000 in the box.Ill be down at the bottom watching you pull your shorts out of your crack and clean your drawers in the bathroom.Lmao Its a little easier to back a day cab than it is a sleeper truck.Ive put my sleeper in places in New York city that would make your head spin.Check yourself freight boy.

I prefer the city for a few reasons....It is less boring (linehaul is alot of just sitting and driving). It keeps you in shape, time goes alot faster because you are alot busier. It is more stable. Linehaul they will send you all over the place, and sometimes it is tough to get home within your 14 hours. You still make it home pretty much every night, but every once in a while you will end up in a hotel because you run out of hours.Boonie Thanks this.
