It's a 60-day bumper-to-bumper warranty on used trucks provided by Prime. There's also an allowance provided for the tire escrow based on the amount of tread left on the tires... that way you won't go bankrupt on tires.
All tractors are cleaned and detailed thoroughly before they are turned over to leasing. Its a little more difficult with the flatbed and tanker tractors because of the additional equipment that is installed to support their ops... you're more likely to get a short lease through them than on the reefer side.

Looking to move to Prime F/B in the immediate future. Drove F/B for six months with another company, but couldn't get any miles. I'm willing to drive and work hard, have no problem with going out with a trainer, just need a place to do it. My only request is to be home for my kids every other weekend. Anyone know if that is feasible or if I need to go find another company that will hire me on a dedicated route? I'd prefer to have a driver opinion before I talk to recruiting tomorrow.

To whatever the whiners name was, GET LOST.
Prime does have a flatbed regional run, but its in Texas. Don't know too much about it as I'm interested in otr. Not sure about anything in California, though we do have customers there. -

Notarps... you and I have gone around about things for quite awhile, but here's an observation...
These "newbs" have been doing all right. They pick up loads, secure them safely, deliver their freight, and do all right. And seem to be quite happy about how things are working out.
OTOH, you can't manage to keep it together here for more than a few weeks. Maybe you ought to take some pointers from them.da1, OpenRoadDreamer and Seebs Thank this.
