Read more of the post , and click on the link to the NY laws. There is no legal way for an out of state truck driver performing his regular duties to carry in that state.

Most people that drive are scared of BIG TRUCKS.

And this is a true statement per one officer in the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.........

" You know my mom insists I arrest every big truck driver I see" and I asked why? He said " Some yahoo came up behind her with those big teeth in his radiator and it scared her" not to mention "he was riding her arse"

    Ugh!!

Those grill ornaments much like the trucks you see them on( resplendent with enough lights for a runway, a set of fake testicles, and the real boy gadgets like sloped duel antenna's) say far more about the inadequacies of the drivers of those trucks. In real confrontations they lack any fortitude but behind the wheel of their big rig they are dieties. We are graced with a couple on the very board espousing their nature on a daily basis.

Like I tell every truck I see tailgating" The very next law you do not like about this industry remember how little of that four wheeler you can see!" Usually some" large car( side note do you all run them like owners of" muscle cars" filling in for inadequacies?) Running down 81 just fit to burst because someone is doing the speed limit.

So I guess you want the government to restrict a drivers own personal items he can put on his truck now?

    Commi much?

Hey commi, guess what? There's already laws against tailgating.

So your saying that truck drivers are stupid? Either way, they are still allowed the freedom's this country is supposed to have.

BTW, why do the wise need guidance? If they needed guidance, they'd be stupid. Surely you don't think that ALL truck drivers are stupid, and need the gooberment and the cops dictating their every action...

    Do you?

Anyone not realizing that states have varying laws and does not research (Very easy to do) what a state's law is before entering with a firearm does so at his own risk. If one chooses to ignore a state's law (As I have done on this subject regularly) assumes the risk.

Ellsworth I know reading comprehension is not your strong suit along with mathematics so I'll simplify.

Nowhere did you find my asking for a law allowing the inadequate from advertising their condition. Just merely observing the type to use such ornamentation.

Yes tailgating is already against the law. But Ellsworth I fear you have missed the point yet agin. See that four wheeler you are attempting to move out of your" hammer lane" with those ornaments by intimidation gets the exact same vote you do in regulating these public roads.

I am so sorry Ellsworth I have become verbose again.

When the super truckers scare the crap out of the four wheelers they get what they deserve in the form of more regulation like split speed and lane restrictions.

You know the irony is the flawed post of Ellsworth's shows how the DA in the story could have been legal.

But you are correct sir that it is incumbent upon the carrier of a side arm to be compliant with all laws of all jurisdictions he travels in.
