If your looking for the best food on 10 stop at the Chicken on the Bayou at exit 115. It's next door to Laundrys Seafood (little white building) you can park at the truckstop across the street or on the side of the road.

Yes sir you are correct. I recommend the crawfish etouffee. It is great. Just passed Chicken On The Bayou there is Hebert's (pronounced abear's). They have some the best smoked boudin I've ever tasted. The truckstop you park at has some great plate lunches too. You have to get there early. They make a shrimp and egg stew on Fridays that will make your toes curl. Lol.

    Nope.

Black lady. She takes no sass, but gives plenty. I grew up with women like that and I MISS them! They run the show the RIGHT way!

If I tell the truth, the oysters were GREAT and I loved the waitress.

I'd go back just to get that lady. and some decent fried oysters.

Cash's has good food cooked by Cajuns and served by sassy Creole' Ladies! Also, them Red Beans and Rice should be ordered with some Smoked Cajun Sausage on the side. :)

I worked with a guy who was married to a sassy creole from Louisiana. He was a buff football player and she had him whipped, lol. Kind of like my Mexican wife!

I cannot do boudin, chorizo or many sausages. My body repels.

Cash had FAB food, for a truck stop. Even my picky-### cat wanted my left-overs.

I have to stay home right now, because I can't do truck stop food.
