Bad company forum is a good place for this post. They seem to have no concept.

Sounds like the loads I used to work on when I first started... Don't hate the guy too much, he's probably had to make about 400 phonecalls on that monster. I lose sleep at night thinking about working loads like that.

 

The quick mathematical answer to this problem is it's 520 miles (PC MILER says 521.) and you see that $475 rate?

Then if that spot where the $475 rate pay is and it's not 520 then WHY even consider it? It's LESS THAN A $1.00 a MILE! And the excape toll to get out of NJ and the extra miles you'll run down Hwy 1 to not pay any other tolls then ...

IMHO hang the hello up!

I know I'm maybe a little but please TELL US YOU DIDN'T TAKE IT!

If the miles are smaller than the rate it "might" be good. If the rate is smaller than the miles it's a trash load! Let those who aren't working for you have them!

If it was my truck if that rate was NOT double the miles it's not worth hauling as it barely covers your cost! Find a better broker.

Unless you live south of an east west line through Ocala, Fl why go there? Florida Brokers think they are doing you a favor keeping more than they are worth and paying just enough to pay your fuel out! They call it a "backhaul!" even if you are not going home!

Worst freight broker company is REED TRANSPORT SERVICES INC. from Brandon,FL

I booked the load from Reed Transport this morning, the broker promised to send me conformation (price was bigger then they usually pay) but broker was agree.
I've beening waiting this conformation 4 hours, i've called them 4 times, then they finaly send me my conformation, but in 30 min broker called me to say that my appointment only in 4 days and its only 1100 miles distance. But in the beginning they told me that my appointment in 3 days.
Broker from Reed Transportation played with me he found some stupid driver who was agree to buy this load for less money thats why he didnt send me so long this conformation (he thougt I will refused from this load), but I didnt and then he used late appointment game its always works. I told him ##*k u and refused from this load.
So if you are o.o. with your authority then stay away from this freight broker company REED TRANSPORT SERVICES MC 309204 USDOT [FONT=Arial, Helvetica][SIZE=-1]2222662 [/SIZE][/FONT]


They play games.
