we are paid by the load, so it depends on how many trip you do in a week.I jus started driving for them full time, but I been making deliveries when they were busy....so I got alot of experience.My first check was @950 after taxes for the week, not bad I think.

Hi everyone:

I am new to this forum and have several friends who are drivers. I believe this will give me hands on view as to what a truck driver's life is really like. Would also like to inform Cross Canada trucker's of a great location to do their laundry when going through the Transcanada Hwy (17) west of Ottawa in Arnprior. The Mall Laundromat is less than 1/4 mile off the Hwy at Whitelake Road exit in Arnprior, it's on google maps and has lots of truck and trailer parking available. It's located at the rear of the Arnprior Mall just across from the McDonald's restaurant and 30 seconds from Tim Horton's (a Canadian institution). The Mall also has a bank, grocery store, hairsylist shop, discount stores and other services.

New here to the forum, but not trking in general. Found this place about a week or so back and I will tell you that there is a wealth of knowledge here. Kudos too the mods for keeping it running. I'm part of a another forum for pilots; but thats a diiferent story for another time.
