Reckless driving is considered 20 and over in Alabama. I will try my luck with Prime since its been two months and my record is still showing clean. I only have less than a month to get hired before I'll have to go back to school again. If my MVR print-out says no convictions of tickets, that's what I'm going to put on my orientation sheets. I think your Class D license convictions are over-ruled by you getting your Class A license. If the tickets were to transfer, it sure would have been before two months. So I thank the Lord for giving me a clean slate.

Ok I know I am "only" a spouse but as I was in the military I am the voice of the family. My complaint with PAM is that they are greedy little ****** my husband went to school through driver solutions graduated at the top of his class in 2 weeks no pay of course during school, gave him a misly 200 when he was done, we have 4 kids and he finished 2 days before thanksgiving. Yold him to call Thanksgiving day for driver code he did and they didn't call him back till the following Tue now I know its the holidays and most offices have a 4 day weekend .. anyway now he has to be on the road for a couple weeks with a driver trainer fine but he is only getting a misly 300 a week and his first week was only 83 dollars wtf. So now we have made 283 in a month Seriously why? We have 4 kids and bills to pay not to mention its Christmas time. They obviously dnt value their employees. How are we gonna be able to pay all our bills and provide Christmas for our family on 600 this month? I am very unhappy with this company they dnt even offer some kind of bonus at the end of training I would like to know who I would contact to complain about this or if it would even matter. Of course we r ex military and I have a big mouth I have a ton of connections throughout the US and UK I guess I could just bash them all over the net!

Im not defending PAM, but surely this was discussed with your hubby before he even went to training? Heck everything you state, is what is on their website and in their videos. I dont think the timing was right for a new career. To be honest, not much different then any other student driver company, very common in this industry. He is still learning (and getting paid to boot) his pay will increase as he brings value to the company. I wish I could have got $600 a month while I was training to be an electronic tech, years ago.

Well, lets see. Hubby is looking for work and goes to school. You want to get paid for this?
Did you even think about the timing seeing how the holidays were coming up??
Just think, no job no money coming in. How does that make christmas better?
Even with a job being home, you have hold back time on the paycheck.
Are you working to help bring in money or sitting at home eating moon pies and drinking R/C cola while you're watching "Springer" -
Ouch.......that so honest!

Seriously?
She said they have 4 kids. How the hell does a wife work with 4 kids?
Another grinder truck mill with the usual supporters defending them.

Sorry to hear your story. The fact is, trucking is like any other profession, you gotta pay your dues. And, unlike any other profession, drivers aren't covered by most labor laws. The companies that recruit brand new drivers know all this. They will lie, cheat and steal to get what is basically slave labor. My wife, kids and I have been through exactly what you are describing. It's bad and it's going to stay bad until your husband gets enough experience (9-12 months) to get on with a good company and make some good money. You two will have to have an honest conversation about whether the sacrifices (I'm talking poverty and extreme loneliness here) the two of you will be making will be worth it or not.
OPUS 7 and Blackadder47 Thank this. -
Well she can work when they are in school. Get a sitter, drop them off at the grandparents.
She stated she was in the service, did she have the kids then and if so who watched them? -
For the record, I'm not supporting any "grinding mill school"
Just posting honest and serious questions about her post
