Can you give me any details of the info you recieved from them. I've been looking but haven't had a chance to contact them. A good friend of mine went to work for them several years ago right after he retired from the Military. But I haven't been able to reach him for info.
How many of us are current Schneider Driver's?

Tennman, do you know anything about the GB OC? Nice?
-
A little over four years as an OTR driver, but it will soon come to an end. I was actually scheduled to leave for good Friday, 12/2, but my MIL fell and my wife may end up having to take some unpaid leave. Therefore, I'm holding off leaving.
It's not a matter of being totally unhappy, but rather a sense that I can do better elsewhere. -
The Green Bay OC is ok but older. Schneider closed one in green bay 2 years ago i think it was but they have several other offices in the area and i haven't been to the OC they are using now so I can't say much about it other than it's older. But for the most part the oc's are nice and offer things such as wifi, free laundry, food,tv room, exercise room, shower's so if you can get by an oc while otr use the facilities they are free (except for food) and secure parking and most have a car you can use to go to stores or restaurants.
FANAT1C Thanks this. -
I start orientation the 12th of December, Green Bay, for tankers.

Here's a kicker, 6 years ago I bought my house from Gretta, a Schneider employee who was moving to Green Bay and works in the bulk (tanker) division.
Tried to give her my referral bonus but that is only available to drivers.

Been here almost 6 months. -
With a little luck, I hope to run into you sometime soon. Figuratively speaking of course!!

Currently on my 6th day with my TE. Hope to be doing my SQT sometime next week.
Schneider has been wonderful to me so far. They have went out of their way to make things right.
I am prior military and I am doing the military apprenticeship program. Of course, dealing with the VA it will take a few months to see the extra $1069 from the VA. But, once that starts, it will supplement my schneider checks nicely.
My trainer has been great so far but is transitioning to the new "workflow" system today. So that means I will be splitting my training time between the old system and the new one. Hopefully this will turn out to be a positive rather than a negative.
Really impressed with schneider so far...only time will tell the whole story. -
