I was being sarcastic...
I've had an elderly idiot ding up my car; which I watched from a window, and when confronted, he claimed "he didn't do it". So I know all about personal accountability.
my 1st oops - trailer tagged the building

I agree Harvey, But that goes to the root of the problem in this counrty, most people won't take responsibility for their actions. There's a saying that goes something like this " A mans character is not how he acts when people around, but when he's alone " not sure if i quoted it right but hope ya'll get the jist of it. Todays society and young folks are being raised with an entitlement mentality which then leads to it's gotta be someone elses fault.

Ya just have to hate it when those buildings get in the way!!

Really though, it's a sinking feeling when ya screw up, and more people have been there than want to admit. I'll betcha ya start looking a bit closer from now on. -
ya i will be looking a bit closer. what sucks is im thare 2 days a week. as soon as it happend i called my boss and told him what i did. and made my report i would never not report something if i did it i did it its that simpel.
johnday and 7122894003481 Thank this. -

things are blown out of proportion #### happens! yea if no one saw it it didnt happen for some things

I was the unfortunate patsy to this. I was accused of hitting a building in march. I won't get into the details, but it sucks to be accused of doing something that it appears another truck driver did.
-
I know a driver who clipped a building and no one saw it. Or, so he thought.
But someone did, and he got fired for not reporting it.7122894003481 Thanks this. -
you learned a lesson--nobody hurt--no major damage--no big deal--report it and be done with it--i would think the majority of trailer bangs go unreported--look at a typical drop yard--looks like a demo derby happened in there
-
To add to this, you have to be mindful if the street dips(or has pothole big enough) toward the curb which could cause your trailer(or tractor) to smack a pole or object...
