I see alot of job advertisements for trucking in alberta, at generous pay scales. I am yet to get my license but plan on it soon, does alberta have good opportunity for new drivers? if not, does anyone? lol

imo, alberta has 2 types of trucking jobs, highway and oilfield. what kind are you thinking about.

i would say oilfield from the start. they take you through a mentoring program for awhile. even if you don't have a class 1 licence they will get you through the drivers program.

dude, stop bein a lil' #####. pack ur bags and migrate. i am green, moved from windsor to calgary to start truckin a few months ago, now im haulin trains up the mountains getting the experience of my life. u wont get nowhere bein all precautious online asking questions.
