Lol I like the fact I dont need to send in my hours anymore. Other than that they haven't really bothered me yet. So I'll stick around and see how it goes.

I gotta' be honest i'm really starting to wonder if i made a mistake leaving my previous job to come here, it was a sweet gig now that i think of it, lol. It just seams like as soon as i started things started changing for the worse. I have met several fellow JCT drivers recently who were unhappy, ( normally that would'nt be cause for alarm, as truck drivers are never happy, right? ), but it did'nt used to be that way here. I keep telling myself it's only a two year note, but that may not be enough. When you stay out 6 weeks and take 5 days off it should'nt ruin your finances for a month, especially at Christmas. I'm really depressed about the whole situation, as i had very high hopes with JCT. It's not just the hometime i had a lot of other issues with the shop and minor breakdowns the first month, spent about $400 out of pocket the first month. I hate to be negitive on here, but i feel after all my other posts before i came here, that i owe it to everyone here to be honest about my experiences here. I hope it works out but it's not lookin' good. Thank you all for reading my rant and puttin' up with me.

Nothing wrong with ranting .yes I agree they should have some incentives where like one week out of the year they wont take any payments out. Unfortunately that's just wishful thinking. Unless they increase pay to compensate for lost miles, I think drivers will drop out of leases like flies.

I have to disagree with u, Alan and Big R, on the new trucks. First Alan with the fuel savings, like me and Big R said, its a wash as far as the higher payments go. Seond Big R ur truck is a 2007, its already 5 years old. When u get it paid off it will be 7 yrs old. U didn't say how many miles were on it, but if I assume 500k then you will have 700k on it when u own it. Mine will be 5 yrs old and hopefully have 500k on it when I own it. Now I didn't go for that $96 a week APU deal. Ithought that was to expencive, I might regret it in the summer. Also during my class there were no 2007's to lease, because, they said they were too old for their fleet. I've seen a few ads for O/O's in the trucking rags from co.'s that only wanted newer trucks. I not knocking ur choice, hell if there had been a deal like that offered to me I mighta went that way, woulda been a close call. I'm having no problem runnin w/ e-logs still gettin 3k a week. As long as I get good mpg I'm figurin $1,000 a week. My classmate who grabbed the '09 KW so far as had a radiator hose blow and choose not get sent by the house right away so had no tools to fix it, a steering column yoke come loose which sent critical alerts to JCT so they had to get him back to the shop to find the problem, and had to have his oil pan gasket replaced. All costin him time and money. I happy with my choice so far. Anyways BADA-BING Y'ALL.
