Hi gang. I'm getting ready to start releasing podcast episodes on my website and would love to intervew drivers, both new and experienced, for my upcoming show. Interested? Please contact me and we can make some arrangements.
I'm posting this same request in a couple areas so that it can be seen by a wider selection of people.
Thanks in advance.

Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.
I'd like to interview you!

Everyone's doing reality shows and podcasts about truckers in the oilfield.
-
Oilfield, eh?
-
I'm interested, though I'd admittedly like to hear a couple of your interviews first.

WELL... someone else is calling all truckers for a reality show and i read somewhere that people from iceroad truckers are planning a trip up to n dakota. You just watch next season you will see a reality show about truckers in the oilfield!

Hey gang. Thanks for the comments. Let me clarify a few things though.
First off, I'm NOT doing a podcast about the oilfields. Even though I work in them, I think that a podcast only about the oilfields would die a quick death.
What I've wanted to do for a long time is a show about truckers, trucking companies, and anything else related to the trucking industry. My plan is to bring interviews with truck drivers, company owners, managers, recruiters, dispatchers, driver's spouses, and anyone else who has a story to tell related to trucking.
I'd also eventually like to feature other regular segments such as NASCAR updates, a Q&A segment, and other various segements, all designed to produce a quality show. A show that people want to listen to every week.
Every journey starts with the first step and so I'm looking for people that would be intersted in talking about their own journey as it relates to their trucking life.
I work, as I said, in the oilfield. What that means is that I put in crazy long hours and have very limited time for doing anything outside of work. I get to stay in a hotel here in Corpus Christi for about 1.5 days per week and am using that time to get this project up and running.
Several people have said that they'd be interested in being interviewed but want to see some episodes first but because I can foresee the time when I run into delays and for whatever reason can't do an interview that week, I want to have 10-12 interviews already recorded and ready to release before I release even the first episode. That way, I won't miss a weekly release of the show.
My blog is currently up and there are some general interst post there. Once the show does release, people will be able to go to the website and listen directly there or download to their computer. They'll also be able to subscribe to the show and then receive the show on their phone or mp3 player.
Please visit www.drivingthebigrigs.com and give me your feedback. There's a call in # already there and you can leave questions or comments there as well. If you'd prefer, you can just use your CB handle, or use your name. The choise is yours. I'd love to hear from ya'll.
Oh, btw. I have zero plans to have a forum there. Stay here on Trucker's Report and this great community for your forum qurstions and communication. The focus of Driving the Big Rigs will be for audio content and occassional blog posts.
Thanks for the understand gang!

Well I am a company driver but i don't think you want to hear what i have to say

I have grown to hate otr and want to come over to the oilfields. At least i would get paid for my time for a change. My comments would be too negative. HOWEVER, i am fixing to start applying for a waterhauling job up in nd and might talk to you then. I think women waterhaulers are unusual.
