    LOL not doubt, if this story is true this is sad but really.....why in F'IN hell did you stay in that truck as long as you did? I would have just got out at the first place it stopped and stayed there...no matter what!

    If this is real, that guy is one sick individual. I know there is some whacko's out there. So believing it is 50/50. I have seen it the other way around and the woman cry wolf when nothing happened.

    get a lawyer and sue covenant for sexual harassment.

    OOIDA is not going to intervene in this case. They do not generally get involved in employee relations with their employers. Since this lady didn't know that you don't need two showers on the truckstop card to get team showers (except at Flying J) then how would you think she would know to join OOIDA?

    The Labor Board and EEOC are good places to start. Maybe place a phone call to Paul O Taylor.

    As for the rest of you English majors, I'll be watching your posts for mistakes. But not in this thread.

    If this true, you can most assuredly believe that this guy has done the same thing to others and there probably exists a pattern of signs or evidence that Covenant should recognize and know about. Sexual harassment laws cover not only what a company actually knew, but also what a company should have known.

    My advice to her: Get to the office of the most aggressive, cut-throat lawyer you can find that specializes in employment law. It's even better if the lawyer has experience with class action litigation.

    1. carry a cell phone that can take a picture. She said he had his "tool" out while he was driving. A picture would be worth more than a thousand words as proof. Hey driver, you want to explain this picture?

    2. carry a small knife which has a blade of 3 inches or less. He wanted her to touch his thing. She slashed it with a small knife. Hey driver, what exactly were you doing when she slashed you THERE?

    3. IF the guy wasn't driving, the use of a stun gun would work wonders on correcting his attitude. Hey driver, explain again exactly how you got zapped exactly where?
    .
    4. Carry pepper spray, especially the kind that has a dye component. Hey driver, how was she able to dye you thing green/red/orange etc. unless you were exposing yourself?
    .
    Either 1,2 or 4 pretty much provides visual proof of the drivers misconduct. Hey driver, you want to explain your way out of this?

    I try to be a relatively nice person. But, when provoked all bets are off. And by the way, where is Gloria Alred we could use her legal services here.
