I thought what you had was a dedicated, light weight run every week that paid well. Obviously, that doesn't change the home time, but 2 out of 3 is pretty good.
I like the local fuel idea. I haul cars, & between the expenses & variable up/down nature of auto sales, will be looking for something else before renewing plate/insurance in March.
Fed Up......time for a change.

My run is dedicated and lightweight, which is great in the summer, but a nightmare in the winter time!!
And the pay is good but that is when the plant stays operating. This year I have been off a total of 11 weeks unpaid!! -
SHC you still got that Star Car?
-
Do you have your own authority ?
-
i am going to pm ya. i have an idea but i dont want this out in the public. if there is a position it would just be one most likely. do you have wheelbase and a long slide fifth wheel?
-
Sure do
-
No, I do not.
-
I do have a 280" wheelbase and my fifth wheel has a 2 plate side with the ability to add 3 more plates if needed to get me to the rear of the frame
-
Well, some more bad news today, found out they let my guys go in the office and are closing up the terminal i run out of. My run is still safe, but things are not looking good over here at QC
volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
I think the writing is on the wall. I'd try to use that to negotiate a new deal with them after you get approved with Pape. If they can make it worthwhile to stay (I doubt it), then you can choose which way to go.
