Was at Waffle House and one of the locals was trying to impress the waitress with his exploits. Realizing he was totally full of BS I got him to say that he was MOS 21J and was stationed among other places at Camp Randall.

A footnote that 21J is actually a dirt track winged sprint car who races around uppermidwest.
Camp Randall is where the Wisc. Badgers play n is named after a CIVIL WAR training post.

Would have been satisfying to smak lyin idiot silly really would of

You have to be careful though. I was in a place the other day and this old guy about my age and weird was wearing a hat with a bronze star on it ! I thought what an idiot ! I figured I would feel him out though and after a little conversation he pulls a box out and shows me his star ! He was in Vietnam and had shrapnel in his head and pretty messed up guy. turned out to be pretty good guy after I talked to him though.

Its kind of satisfying doing stuff like that isnt it? Those fake heroes make me sick. I love proving their lying without them even knowing it. The ones that really piss me off are the ones that go even further and buy medals and ribbons from military surplus stores. PX Generals....lol

The Stolen Valor Act of 2005, signed into law by President George W. Bush on December 20, 2006,[1] is a U.S. law that broadens the provisions of previous U.S. law addressing the unauthorized wear, manufacture, or sale of any military decorations and medals. It makes it a federal misdemeanor offense to falsely represent oneself as having received any U.S. military decoration or medal. If convicted, defendants may be imprisoned for up to six months, unless the decoration lied about is the Medal of Honor, in which case imprisonment could be up to one year

If I see one more 400 lb yahoo Walkin around a truckstop with a special forces hat on, I'm gonna go nuts. When I was stationed at NAB Coronado, I had the honor of knowing a few Navy SEALS. The majority of them were the last guys you would suspect of being Specops and none of them were the type to be runnin around in a store bought special forces hat. The ones that truly are or were, have no desire to advertise it to the world.
