My company uses qualcomm e-logs and I never have to edit anything, just log in when i start my day and log out when i'm done. If I run out of hours and get a violation so be it, keep going to a hotel or home whichever comes first.

Without flat out lying, just bending where you can, on paper I will use more time than I will when I'm gaming the box.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 18, 2011

I, for one, look forward to the day when the government implements mind reading and thought control technology so we won't have to be bothered with thinkin' and/or rememberin' technical stuff. I say bring on a cashless society and a one-world government. The sooner, the better. Let the end begin. I give it 'bout seven years of trials and tribulations before the world goes to hell in a hand basket.
After the Rapture there'll be a shortage of Big truck truck drivers of epic proportions. To fill all the empty seats, qualifications will be lowered to accommodate the knuckle draggin' low brows who have accepted the mark of the Beast in return for the privilege of employment and knowing where one's eternity will be spent. Removed will be the concern about which Big truck truckin' company to hire on with as there will be only one such company in existence, ---
C.R. England, --- the hands down best qualified company with years of experience puttin' their drivers through hell, and enjoyin' every eternal minute of it.
What's not to like?

You might never get caught cheating but who will visit you in prison when there is an accident and saome ambulance chaser disects that log and finds out you were cheating? Not worth it!

So... you folks using Qualcom MCP 200 are not having any issues, any technical problem? Mine is becoming very irritating...
I have replaced the darn box... this one is brandy new but I guess the problem is the f##### software. Every day now I have to waste time... call QC technical support to reset the thing... and wait on hold, listening to their "elevator music" (which totally sucks)... It's a real aggravation when I have to change my status or send a message or listen to one (since the darn thing doesn't let me read or write while vehicle is in motion...)
And the box freezes....
can't use keyboard, the letters get stuck on the virtual keyboard, the function buttons don't work....
OH LORD I MISS PAPER LOGS SOOOOOOO MUCH! And folks insist this is easier and faster????... Qualcom told me I will need to ask my company to make a request to QC for a "hard reset" so they can re-install the freaking system. And my company will have to collect some data, provide them with some info, I will have to log out.... It will have to be done during my "hometime"... In the meantime I will have to keep calling QC everyday for my daily reset....

If you unplug Qualcomm won't it just update once it comes back online? Because once I logged out to see what would happen and it added my activity back on when I logged back in. -
