Gemini Transport is hiring for tanker drivers. They refuel the Love's truckstops. Good pay and benefits from what I've read.

 

Love,love,love Paper Transport !!! Dh worked for them last year, starting pay was 37cpm,insurance is available(65 weekly for driver),no charge for riders,lotsa miles,always home by Saturday morning at the latest or the option of driving weekends for extra pay,really nice dispatchers,safety department was very nice to...and brand new trucks! Oh,and safety meetings are at a hotel with food provided and you can bring your spouse.Main Terminal is located in Green bay and a second one in Jacksonville with drop yards all over,mainly hauling for Georgia Pacific.Would highly recommend this company!!

 

I cant post replys yet,but Im pretty sure they hire from Tampa,another driver we met was from Alabama and one was from Orlando

 

But,

they don't train newbies do they ???

 

No,you have to have 2 years experience

You know, I thought the same about internet job listings. But I had an interview with Nestle' a couple months ago and the interviewing manager said many potential applicants don't/can't use the website application process or find job listings and never even know about alot of their job openings. He was only interviewing about 12 guys for a job that paid almost $18/hr to start. And didn't even require CDL A to start. They send you to Lakeland for driver's training. I suppose they hired someone with more experience.
