I am not bashing I just don't understand why it should take several weeks to recover from taking a week off. Your fixed expenses and mine are not much different each week. I was off the whole week of Thanksgiving so had no revenue that week and my settlement was negative 757.01 for that week. I came back out and ran 3277 miles then made up the negative and then still took home $2092.57 the next week. There was $411.25 in detention pay and a $300 recruit bonus but even without that it would of been $1381.32. Are you sure there is not any kind of charge you guys have to pay to take timeoff?

I am shocked you had $411.25 detention time. I follow your posts and you are always running hard and posting your deliveries are ASAP.

One of these days you are going to be a big part in getting this thread LOCKED and it is going to be a real shame.

The reason for the 2 negitive settlements was the way they ran me ( or did'nt run me comeing in to the house and going out. I had it planed out to come home Sun and go back out the following Sat. That way i would have 3 1/2- 4 days in comeing in and 5 days going out 4 the next pay period so maybe break even or just be a little negitive on one check is what i was planning for. Of course that did'nt happen though, the week before i came home i sat on a load in Ohio for over a day because i was early, ( this was after letting the planners know two days eairler that i would be early ) and they never found me a repower. Then after i emptyed the preplan they gave me did'nt load for another 1 1/2 days. They said that was all they had at the time because they underbooked that week for Thanksgiving. Then the repower they found me to get me home A DAY LATE, had too much time on it and not enough drivers at the yard, so i had to sit on it for a day before delivering. This caused me to push my hometime out one more day, as i had family from out-of-state comeing and was'nt gonna' be short time with them. So i left out Sun., The load they gave me was only 885 miles, and did'nt deliver till Wed. which is cutoff, so there you have it two negitive settlements total of over -$950. The next week i turned over 4100 miles, so that'll pull me outta' negitive but only leave me about 1k for 3 weeks work.

Makes sense to me. Thanks for clarifying "why" you wound up with 2 negative settlements. This explanation may help other drivers realize lease programs can be difficult at times. The truck payments dont stop and in many cases neither do the other "fixed costs" a carrier may charge each week regardless of whether you made any money or not.

You guys that opt for a lease program are some of the hardest working drivers on the roads today. I hope in the end it works out for you.

Guys, Been here 3 months. All new drivers are put on E-logs now. I do not reccomend this lease company because of that. I was doing well till E-log put on me. brought miles down. Time to start looking elsewere. Also they do have more of company driver treatment and feel. Got plenty of customers, but e-log restricts your running. Be adviced and good luck. With out the Outlaw miles to help you make money, just another ripp off lease company.

    BigR and BigKid2 Thank this.
