Ok i have no idea how to do this (make a post) so i apologize to the one who started this one. i have a warning for all of you about a company out of apopka florida they are called Little Man Trucking Inc. My husband went to work for him under the immpression he had to come of the road (the owner) so for two weeks my husband was put in a very nice pete (and i know how you all love those nice petes) then he was told that he had to be put in another truck (which was falling apart ). The owner had my husband sit for over a week waiting for fuel money while he continued to run he told us "well if we never had to pay you then you could of gone. The truck wasn't registered for oregon and they got a ticket and turned around and told my husband that he is reasponsible for it because he should have made sure the truck was registered ( news flash jacwagon not his truck not his responsibility).( needless to say he gave his notice and went to another company) When it came to getting paid we couldn't. He would call and ask where his money was and was told oh this day then it would be oh this day etc....they have the money to get his wifes hair and nails done but can't pay his driver.....they have money to put food on their tables pay their bills but can't pay drivers.....they have money to run trucks but can't pay drivers.....

While I understand your frustration with mom and pop unfortunately your husband IS RESPONSIBLE for the truck not being registered in Oregon. Part of his pre-trip is to check the papers and know what's good etc. If he did not have current Oregon then he should have bought a permit prior to entry or not enter the state. He should know this. No different than running with exp. insurance papers, bad brakes, tires, lights out.

We are all the last line of defense. It's a rotten deal but that's the way it is. If we accept the load, equipment then we accept it's condition and it's legality. Carriers big and small could care less, there is 10,000 just like us waiting outside the gate and they will just get another.

    JMO ma'am.....
