I spent an average of 100 dollars a week well out with my trainer. 1 meal a day coffee smokes and a ocasional snack. A lot depends on your trainer. Hope this helps.

During school in Trenton I spent about 40 dollars a week on food. There is a microwave, fridge and coffee maker in the room as well as coffee and microwave at the terminal. I brought along a slow cooker and Sheff brought an electric skillet. We ate very well! I packed my lunch for school also, except for Chicken Wednesday(in Trenton).
During the time with my trainer I spent about 100 dollars a week. He had a microwave that I used at times but he was very much an"eat out guy". So I followed suit many times.
When you get with your Trainer you will probably be in a T700. From what I have heard from other students we are all given about the same space. There are two cubbies, one on either end of your bunk. They are 2 feet by 2 feet and about 16 inches to the ceiling. I put groceries in one and pc, camera and other delicate things in the other. I brought 2 bags. One for clothes and one for showers. I put those at the foot of my bunk.I am 6'2" and it did not present a problem. There was also plenty of room for my food in the fridge.
Tight quarters but managable.Boomer 1 and needachange Thank this. -

crap, was looking at the the millis web site got to be at least 15 years or so old, on the owner-operator page, tells you the mileage rate and plates, tax's, BUT nothing about (how old your truck can be) or anything about fuel surcharge, or is there a fee for quacom usage or is it free, i got to mid February to decided on who to go with for mid April start time, have to go to bike-week in Florida this march ya now, going to leave this factory of 6 years in get back to driving, don't need the money just bored, hauled those beer and glass loads back in 96 to 98 loved it, i may have to call next month and ask, UNLESS someone there in class can ask the big guy wright there in class and say if i want to go from company to owner-op with a 11 year old truck whats ya going to pay me, hahaha, see ya

So after delivering to Menards in Marion, IL. On Saturday dispatch deadheaded me to Unilever in Pontoon Beach, IL to grab a load going to Walmart DC in Beaver Dam, WI. for Monday...dispatch told me it could NOT deliver before Monday so I started planning the weekend out...figured I would pick the load up in Pontoon Beach and run up to Richfield and go ahead and do a reset and take care of a few things like laundry and dishes....arrive to Pontoon Beach and they tell me the load will not be ready until 1000-1300 the following day so my plan was shot down just like that...sat at the flying J on my reset.... Rolled out around 3am Monday morning heading to Beaver Dam, WI...delivered that load then ran to Burlington, WI. and grabbed load to deliver Tuesday morning in Columbus, OH.... Then deadheaded to Trenton and picked up a load to deliver in Allentown, PA. Wednesday morning...after delivering to Allentown, PA I deadheaded to Unilever in Carlisle, PA. to grab a load going to Unilever in Palmetto, GA which had me happy because I planned it out to where I would be able to sleep in my bed at home Thursday night but sure enough those plans got crushed!!! Just south of Hagerstown, MD. dispatch sent me a message saying the load now delivers to Jacksonville, FL....oh well...that just means more miles!!! Well hope everyone is running hard and staying safe!!
