I know him too ME
-
He was extremely proficient at both installing and exceeding FCC
limitations of 10/11 meter comm devices.
After a few million coin in the bank, certify was a moot point.
-
Since the FCC does NOT license repairmen this makes no sence also the owner of the radio is held to comply with the law not the repairman ...
BTW there is NO 10/11 meter devices ..... -
There are in fact 10 meter and 11 meter devices
and both can be internally adjusted to exceed manufactor
as well as FCC recommended parameters(limits) -
There are what ? " FCC recommended parameters " " 10 meter and 11 meter devices "
Please show me the rule under which it falls ??
BTW no radio can be made to comply with both .... 95.603, 47 USC 302a ect ... -
OK this is how it works ......
You have a CB radio .... as definded on 95.603
You have a 10 meter radio which is a radio that runs on 10 meters .... The FCC does not allow it to be certified for CB use .....
95.655(a) states: "....([CB] Transmitters with frequency capability for the Amateur Radio Services ...will not be certificated.)"
Class over ...... -
Can we set the FCC rules and regulations aside and get back to flaming Radio-Hacktive????
josh.c Thanks this. -
Lead the way ......
